Chief Executive Officer of Business SA. Business SA is South Australia’s leading business organisation, representing thousands of businesses through direct membership and affiliated industry groups. Mr Vaughan was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Business SA in July 1999 and immediately implemented a radical change management program for the organisation. This included the development of a new corporate identity, a strategy to increase membership numbers, and the strengthening of Business SA’s lobbying and advocacy role.
Mr Vaughan is also a Governor of the State Theatre Company of South Australia, State Councillor of the Committee for Economic Development of Australia (CEDA) and a Board member of Work Cover Corporation and the Training and Skills Commission. He is strongly committed to sharing his skills and experiences to support the State’s community sector.
