Statewide Cancer Control Plan
Cancer Council SA, in partnership with the SA Department of Health, developed the Statewide Cancer Control Plan 2006-2009 under the auspices of the Clinical Senate. Input came from clinicians and health care providers, people with a personal experience of cancer, experts in health planning and service delivery and researchers. The Plan articulates principles and goals for cancer control programs and services to reduce the incidence of cancer, improve cancer survival, and improve the quality of experience and life for people with cancer, their carers and families.
