Young people and Volunteering

Students can become involved in fundraising by volunteering on a site at one of our fundraising events or coordinating a fundraiser such as Daffodil Day through your school. Students could:
  • hold a casual day – try a daffodil yellow theme
  • sell our merchandise and fresh daffodils
  • hold a Daffodil Day art competition or poster design at school
  • plant flowers (daffodils or other yellow flowers) with proceeds going to cancer research, support and prevention.
Volunteering at the Cancer Council SA is an opportunity to:
  • learn new skills
  • gain experience in a work place environment,
  • train in your area of interest
  • increase your chances of gaining employment later.
