Students can become involved in fundraising by volunteering on a site at one of our fundraising events or coordinating a fundraiser such as Daffodil Day through your school. Students could:
- hold a casual day – try a daffodil yellow theme
- sell our merchandise and fresh daffodils
- hold a Daffodil Day art competition or poster design at school
- plant flowers (daffodils or other yellow flowers) with proceeds going to cancer research, support and prevention.
Volunteering at the Cancer Council SA is an opportunity to:
- learn new skills
- gain experience in a work place environment,
- train in your area of interest
- increase your chances of gaining employment later.
If there are no vacancies of interest in the Volunteer Opportunities contact the Volunteer Coordinator to talk further about your areas of interest.
