For young people

Children and young people can be affected by cancer themselves, or have family or friends who have cancer.

Some information is written for especially for them, while other sites help other people talk to children and young people about what is happening around them.

  • Kid's Health - a general health site especially for kids with cancer as a topic.
  • Young Adult Health - aimed at young people with information about cancer for self or others.
  • My parent's cancer  - an interactive site for 13-19 year olds who have a parent with cancer.
  • Star Bear - a children's grief and loss service of Anglicare.
  • American Cancer Society  - has information about children with cancer, and when there is cancer in the family.
